Re: [FF]: 2014 Season Long Fantasy FIRST
I scored/attached the Springside Chestnut Hill District using EricH's 2012 template for the MOE scout FF league. I don't know if someone else scored it or who is responsible for it, but I figured if I posted it here it might do some good. Please check it before using the scores. I haven't scored since 2012 so something may have changed w/o my knowledge. I also credited backup 3929 with a SF finish for their 1 loss in the SF. I'm not sure what the official scoring is for backups like that...

288 captained the winning alliance at Midland, but they were replaced after the first QF's match. Do they get points for winning, or just QF's? Also, does their replacement bot get points for winning? |

Re: [FF]: 2014 Season Long Fantasy FIRST
For replacement robots: All members of the alliance are equal in terms of tourney points, wherever the alliance ends up. However, if I was scoring, this would not extend to W-L-T records--3929 would have a 10-point SF finish, but a 0-1-0 elims record for -2 points. 288 would get the 30 points for winning, but only the +- 2 for their first QF match; their replacement would get the 30 points for the win, plus their W-L-T (which would be something on the order of 5-X-0).
As a note, when I was scoring, I actually had to notice the backup team being placed in there to give 'em credit. |

Re: [FF]: 2014 Season Long Fantasy FIRST
Are there still negative points for losing? I didn't bother with the loss column. I thought we gave up negative points in '10 when winning and losing were kinda the same thing
(aka the year of 6v0) |

Re: [FF]: 2014 Season Long Fantasy FIRST
So... there was a tie in high score at Springside. Do I account for all teams that were involved with the high score although they all played in separate matches? I am going to assume this is the case.

Yep. If you got the high score, you get the high score points.

Re: [FF]: 2014 Season Long Fantasy FIRST
With that being said then, all the week 2 events should be scored 100% now, and I am beginning on the district events for week 3.
If the scorers do not mind, I will take on the district events as priority. James needs the scores in order the FiM, PNW, NEFIRST, and MAR champs properly. |

Re: [FF]: 2014 Season Long Fantasy FIRST
I deeply apologize for not getting any scores lately, but we need all hands on deck ASAP for district scores. We may not even run the Fim, PNW, NEFirst, and MAR champ drafts due to lack of district scores.
That being said, I will attempt to get one whole week done. I have several exams next week and I can't afford to waste time. |

We can run the MAR District Champs draft whenever the team lineup gets released, MAR doesn't have a week 6.

Is PNW really going to go with only 39 teams for their championship? |

With 18 FF teams we'd need 54 teams to run a single draft. Works out perfectly. What day should I run it? EDIT: I'm not sure how MAR works, but in FiM, if a team decides they aren't going to attend, the next team in the waitlist is immediately contacted, so we most likely wouldn't have an issue with a team dropping and only having 53 teams.
