Team 333 would like to congratulate all the teams who participated in this years regional. There were a lot of really impressive robots.

Congratulations to team 334, 4039, and 1884 on winning the regional.

We would also like to thank team 597, and 4122. You guys played exceptional out there and we would not have made it as far as we did without them.

NYC was so much fun this year. So many good teams attended and raised the level of play, teams had to bring their A game and did.

It was a crazy weekend and I'm so proud of how our team did, #2 seed is the highest seed we have ever achieved. With that seed we built a great alliance. 1796 you guys were awesome and it was a thrill to finally get to play with you. 2344, we played with you in your rookie year and it was great to get to play with you again, I wished we could have gotten your long shot working in a match, it would have been tough to beat. We had a solid alliance but the #7 alliance just had our number, they did a fantastic job.

To the eventual champions, I'm so happy you guys pulled out the victory. 334 you guys have grown so much in the past 3 years it's crazy, I'm happy you will be representing NYC at champs, make all of us proud. 4039, what more can I say, you guys were in it to win it. You have a great robot and a great group of kids, you were doing absolutely everything you could to get the win. You stalked my personal youtube page, that's the kind of thing I love to see. 1884, you guys played your role perfectly and made sure that your alliance had a 3 assist cycle without leaving the ball on the ground too long. With all 3 teams winning their first regional it was a site to behold, you energized the entire convention center with your joy.

To 353, huge congrats on your chairman's award. You guys do so much on your team to spread FIRST and I'm glad you will bringing that example with you to championship.

Lastly a quick shout to 3940 who absolutely came to life during the end of the competition after a tough first 2 days. From a broken catapult to 100 points on your own in a match, I've never seen a team shoot so high up our picklist in a day. You guys should be very proud of what you accomplished this year.

To all the teams and people that make the NYC regional what it is, thank you and I look forward to seeing all of you in the offseason and at the regional next year.

What else can I say? NYC was an absolutely amazing experience.

I have to say a huge thank you to our alliance partners, 354, The G-House Pirates, and 1156, Under Control. It was an honor to be part of your finalist alliance, and we can't wait to see you again next year!

Congratulations to 334, 4039, and 1884 for making the finals so amazing, you guys played amazingly. Also, congratulations to all the award winners, especially fellow Long-Islanders Team 353, The Pobots, for their Chairman's Award!

Finally, a special shoutout to 1796, The Robotigers, for allowing me to work on your robot with you, we can take selfies any day.

For teams that have never been to the New York City Regional, you should really consider going next year. The event volunteers were wonderful and the teams from New York City and it's surroundings made their visitors from out of state and out of country feel genuinely welcome. We enjoyed meeting and working with so many great teams who are all passionate about FIRST.

To the teams that we faced in qualifications and eliminations, you were great competitors and made every cycle feel like we were running the gauntlet - our robot has the bruises to prove it!

Our hats are off to team 353 on their well-deserved Chairman's Award.

To our international alliance (334, 1884, 4039), from catching the TechKnight's majestic arcing truss passes to the hard-nosed defence played by our Griffins, it was our pleasure to play this game of partnerships at your side. All three of us earning our first blue banners together was a moment we at MakeShift will never forget.

Needless to say, the Griffins had an incredible time this weekend. As well as our first ever blue banner, we had a fun and fantastic time in New York meeting a whole bunch of new people!

Firstly, we would like to thank our alliance partners 334 and 4039. With all our mechanical problems on Saturday and neutering our shooter to focus on assists, we are so grateful that two of the best teams at the regional still decided to pick us. We spent the weekend next to 4039 in the pits and we know first hand what an amazing group of people they are, and what a beautifully engineered robot they have built. We were happy and honoured to have the opportunity to help both teams earn their much-deserved first regional win!

Congratulations to 353 for their well-deserved Chairman's Award, 597 for Engineering Inspiration and 5123 for Rookie Inspiration. Hopefully we will see you all in St. Louis! Shout out to 810, sitting in the stands behind them it was incredible how spirited they were throughout the weekend, and they really led the way for a great atmosphere in the Javits.

It is a testament to the great work done by the volunteers, the referees and the rest of the teams that the level of competition was high and well-spirited. Everyone seemed to play the game with the right attitude, and it's clear everyone worked hard to make sure everyone had a great weekend.

Finally, we would like to extend a special thank you to the judging panel of the Woodie Flowers Finalist Award. We know that at every regional, there are scores of mentors who deserve to get recognition for their hard work. But having been taught by, mentored by and worked alongside Mr. McCarty, we see everyday the amount of tireless effort and dedication he puts in to promoting FIRST and STEM in our school and community. He shies away from the spotlight, but we are absolutely over the moon that he finally got his time in it.

The Steel Hawks want to thank all of the 65 teams that competed this past weekend at NYC for an amazing competition. The competition gets better and better every year and we were so impressed by every robot at the competition. We'd also like to congratulate the alliance of 334, 4039 and 1884 on eliminating our alliance in the quarterfinals and taking home the banners when it was all said and done. Seeing three different teams from three different countries working together is one of the many reasons I'm proud to say I've competed in FIRST Robotics. We'd also like to thank 3017 and 3171 for being a part of our alliance and building a strategy that gave us a shot at taking down the top-seeded alliance.
We'd like to thank all of the judges and the teams that recommended us for our first Gracious Professionalism award as well as teams 694, 4039 and others for extending the same kindness to us when we needed it most.
Finally, it was an amazing experience trading t-shirts with teams 1382, 1884, 1156, 3158, 694 and 3940. We built some memories that would surely last us a lifetime. I can't believe that after 7 years my career competing in FIRST Robotics is over but I can't wait to start mentoring next year and come back to regionals like NYC.

NYC Regional was a great experience for Team 1796 and me personally, I have to say this was one of our best years.
First we would like to congratulate our alliance members 694 (StuyPulse) the number 2 seed who chose us, and 2344 (The Saunders Droid Factory) for playing defense. We did great as alliance partners but 597, 4122, and 333 topped us out. We hope to see all of you at NYC next year.
We started off rough in New York, but eventually worked pass our errors. With the help of 271 (The Mechanical Marauders) especially Hot Stuff (Paul) thanks for helping us work out the kinks in our drive train.
Congratulations to the winning alliance 334, 4039, 1884 on your blue banner wins. You guys showed us a great final match. Also a special thanks to 353 the PoBots on their Chairman Award win, you guys are amazing and deserved to be the winners.
Finally a special thanks to the judges for recognizing our efforts with our team image and presenting to us the Imagery Award. It has been something we have been striving for the past two years. Overall, this was a great regional for us, and we hope to come back better next year.

So, after event and some hours of travelling (and we still without our luggage ), 1156 wants to thanks every team that have attended NYC, was an amazing event, great machines and atmosphere.

271 for playing an amazing defense, you have a top drive train. Was a pleasure to work with you guys, after being on opposite sides in the Finals in SPBLI.
