Favorite Cartoons

What are your favorite all time cartoons?

I would have to say mine are the old school GI Joe and Transformers as well as Ren and Stimpy, the simpsons, Beavis and Butthead, and Toonsylvania...
Freakazoid is also on the list probrably too along with the critic and duckman.

What are your favorites?

David the Gnome is the best TV show ever. Period. That cannot be contested.

David the Gnome. He has a fox named Swift: he lives in a great house inside a tree. And he has healing powers.

And Swift the fox, whose agility and speed through the forest is matched only by his good humor, and cool attitude:

He's so fast, I couldn't find any pictures of him using google.

I loved that show...

Without a doubt, it MUST be Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Best cartoon ever created. Now that robotics is over, I will be able to judge whether the re-creation of it theyre running now is worth my time. A close second would have to be Ghostbusters. *Sigh* The good cartoons are all gone now.

holy crap i totaly forgot about those 2!!!
Ghost busters was cool... i had a bunch of the action figures...those were some of the most twisted action figures ever made....

How could i have forgotten Teenage mutant ninja turtles...DOH!

That one totaly ruled the earth...we had a really long discussion about that in class the other day.

My little brother sold all my TMNT action figures in a garage sale for $.50 a piece...i still get sad thinking about that...i had a lot of them...and the battle dome thing and the van and the sewer hideout...and even a casey jones figure...

but this thread isn't about toys its about cartoons....

I forgot thundercats...that one is cool just because the sword of omens is the best superhero weapon ever created, no task was to impossible for the sword of omens...

Ninja Turtles- thats one of the best cartoon shows ever.. I still remember their names and weapons- Leonardo, Michelangleo, Raphael, and DaVinci..

but when you were a bit older... Darkwing Duck-

Ohh yeah.. what was the other one?... the disney cartoon with a twin-engine plane and a smuggler fox who would smuggle goods with his bear friend? That was the best..- anyone remember the name of this cartoon?

That's it! Talespin!

CAPTIAN PLANET!

he's our hero!
Gonna take polution down to zero!

Teachers get freaked out when i break into tv show theme songs....its amazing how we all grew up with these shows and still have the theme songs memorized (does anyone not know the theme to fresh prince?). It almost reflects sadly on our culture and how we were all raised by the TV...bah...i still loves me cartoons!

For me, it's a toss-up between Vision of Escaflowne, Cowboy Bebop, and Neon Genesis: Evangelion.

I'm also quite fond of Aa! Megami-Sama, The Critic, and Freakazoid.

You guys are speaking my language.. it is Real Ghostbusters hands down:

It is so sad how no one ever remembers this great series when they remember the 80's... well for late 80's pop culture, this is it.

Place your attention entirely on my voice and try to ignore all the others. It is important to be able to focus on a single source of information while blocking out all the other things competing for your attention.

American Favs have to include The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I also have some really old Ninja Turtle comic books. You can't imagine the difference between the cartoon and the comic. The comics are all evil and the cartoon was all fun. But the new cgi series is based more on the comics so now that we're all in our teens we might apreciate it more.

I also loved Darkwing Duck, Tales Spin, and Rescue Rangers!

But then there is Anime. Alot of which is mature. But when I was a wee lad I liked Sailor Moon. Now I like Evangellion, G-Wing, Princess Monoke and way too many others.
But what can I say I really like my anime (and Manga).

Want to see some of my art (anime AND American comic based) then goto my gallery at Deviant Art .com here, Spider-Punk.deviant art.com. Register and comment! LoL

Later.
