Re: Team 987 2014 Video: Triple Seven
During a match, if you have the ball, do you ever pull back your intake?
That bots got some pretty sweet ball containment, doesn't so much as wiggle when you guys are driving about or being defended against. |

Re: Team 987 2014 Video: Triple Seven
We do indeed pull back intake if needed. Top roller finger plus side flaps on arm hold ball snugly even with arm out though.

Re: Team 987 2014 Video: Triple Seven
I was honored to work with this team twice this year. Extremely quick and deadly effective robot this year with Triple 7. Seeing Triple 7 many times I must say watch out for their quick maneuverability, 99% reliable two-ball-hot auto, the fact that they cannot be t-boned
, and how they really don't have any weaknesses ![]() As always, another outstanding video and robot! I can't wait to see you all at champs. |

Re: Team 987 2014 Video: Triple Seven
Do you guys do an Octobot like 971 and 1678 or do you have some other method of getting out of pins more easily?

Re: Team 987 2014 Video: Triple Seven
Are the wheels on the finger powered?

Re: Team 987 2014 Video: Triple Seven
Yep, a belt runs from the main pickup to the small wheels on the end of the finger.
You can see it better in this image. |
