Go to Post I still believe that if we are legitimately trying to make FRC be recognized as a real sport, then the GDC must treat it like one. - Jim Zondag [more]

In my town, they couldn't use the normal plows in some places: they put caterpiller bulldozers on flatbed trucks to clear out the nastier areas.

I haven't seen this much snow since 1996: and I was too yuong to really remember: I was only 10-11 then.

.. that is INSANE. Anyone who'd actually buy a jar of snow on ebay is even more crazy.

.... I'll have to go find someone w/ an ebay account so that they can place a bid for me

Yeah, like a little while ago, someone bought a piece of used gum that was chewed by a famous person for $1000. It was also placed in a jar.

Yeah here in Vernon, CT we have gone from the blizzard of 2003 to the flood of 2003 cause we have been getting rain since early this morning and it still hasnt let up. Unfortunatly the snow hadn't all melted so it isnt helping the situation any.

[sarcasm]I just saw my neighbor go by in a row boat[/sarcasm]

I am glad that the robot is shipped so that it hopefully isn't floating down a river. lol
