Trouble Finding Gray Jaguar Firmware

Hey guys. My team is trying out CAN for the first time this off season, but we are having trouble finding the firmware for the Gray Jaguars (the older ones). I found the black really easily, but I can't seem to find the firmware for the gray ones. Any chance you guys can either post the firmware binary (or a zipped version) or at least a link to it?

Re: Trouble Finding Gray Jaguar Firmware

I found this on the FIRST page. Looks like you're going to need at least one black Jag?

*EDIT

I found the links on the TI page. On the bottom of this page, the FIRST firmwares are there. The .zip contains .bin files for both Black Jaguars and "Jaguars"(old Jags)

Re: Trouble Finding Gray Jaguar Firmware

Not sure if the links in it still work, but back in 2011 (updated in 2012) I wrote a paper on setting up CAN:

http://www.chiefdelphi.com/media/papers/2433

Keep in mind anything to do with the cRIO will not apply for the new 2015 control system, as it has a built in CAN port w/ terminator. But for offseason use with a cRIO (8 or 4 slot), it should get you started on the hardware.

Re: Trouble Finding Gray Jaguar Firmware

Yeah, also, if you might have the money to but new Jaguars, id spend it, Grey Jags arent the best to use now, But the biggest thing is starting with a black Jag and daisy chaining it from there. Also you will have to make a CAN terminator and a adaptor with a resistor for CAN-serial, but that only apples to the 4 and 8 slot cRios

Re: Trouble Finding Gray Jaguar Firmware

Both the black and tan jaguar firmware is installed with the FRC Update, in the Public\Documents\FRC directory.
