I'm learning about this opportunity as I go; and I'm not a part of the recruiting dept. My knowledge of their typical timeline for filling this sort of position is limited, to say the least.
I think the best approach is to let them (the recruiting team) handle questions like that - We don't want me to get in the middle of the conversation, and start creating confusion.
