Geek Gala 2014 at the Washington FIRST Fieldhouse!

Hello PNW FIRST Robotics teams!
Team 2907 would like to present Geek Gala 2014!

Geek Gala is essentially the Pacific Northwest's version of RoboProm held each year at the FIRST Championship in St. Louis.

Geek Gala will be on May 31st, 2014, starting at 7:30 pm till 11:30pm at the Washington FIRST Fieldhouse. Although our team, Lion Robotics, is helping to host the dance, all proceeds will go right back into Washington FIRST to better the program over the coming years or possibly to offer rookie teams some monetary support in their inaugural years.

We will be have a photo booth there and we are asking teams to bring some team "swag" with them (Examples: Skunk Works skunk tails, IRS' yellow ties, Lion Robotics bow ties and suspenders, etc.) to make the pictures more fun and interesting.

We hope you can come and make this beginning year a great success!

The dance is semi-formal to formal. Like I mentioned before, similar to RoboProm attire in St. Louis.

This sounds like a really good time…And of course a pretty great time to try out the new PNW FIRST DANCE.
As you may know we had a 'Reveal' performance at the PNW District Championship in Portland last month.
You can see video of that on youtube.
We also had a short presentation at the Robo Prom.
And I taught a few Teams and mentors the basics.

For this Geek Dance night I will come and help teach the new FIRST DANCE to anyone who wants to learn it.
If you want to learn or practice ahead of time just look for some of the links I posted here or on Facebook and youtube.
I will bring some Commemorative iron-on Patches for any T-Shirts you wish to adorn.
