Hello all members of FIRST!

This last year of matches was nothing short of spectacular. If you don't already know, we have created a brand new product called RoboVisionOD "On Demand" for FIRST members (or anyone interested) to watch supported regional events live, with videos of each match uploaded within minutes for archival purposes and instant review for teams. Scouting features were implemented, but not finalized. This last year we fully supported the South Florida Regional, and partly the Orlando Regional without live streaming or a live scoreboard. FiM (FIRST in Michigan) was also tagged in through our system as a way to expand the available videos someone could watch through our Android app or the website. The iOS version will be up for next season.

As FIRST is a family of members and volunteers, I am asking for the community's help in determining what you would like to add to the system. This gives us a much better idea of what you, the viewers, want from the product. We plan on adding a variety of new features for the upcoming match year, but please, if you know of any feature you would like added, or a bug you experienced in this year's matches, feel free to comment below. Anything will be considered.

Tyler,
Thanks for providing this fantastic service. I don't have many great suggestions on improving the service other than expanding it to other regionals if possible. It's not critical, but the team number graphic at the beginning of the videos last year was a nice touch.

I also used the mobile Android app and didn't have any issues with bugs. Having a built in team search function would make it much easier to scout teams.

Thank you David. We plan on expanding significantly soon, but cannot give full details at this time. An overhaul of the Android app is in the works to allow videos to be played within the app without sending a link to your default browser, as well as showing scores and other data without leaving the app. Full search functionality is part of those plans for both Android and iOS platforms.

Also, the video graphic showing the teams was something we were thinking about bringing back. A lot of viewers seemed to like it being in the video itself, however we do show the teams and their scores in the description of every video now to improve searching by team through our YouTube channel.
