At least nowadays, the special effects are to the level that Star Trek could have a true (i.e., not humanoid) robot/droid. Look at the special effects they had to use for Odo. You don't see anything like that in Star Wars.
Oh, and raise your hand if you also think the Borg is the best thing to happen to sci-fi. ::raises hand:: |
