Re: 2014 IRI Predictions
While 1241 may have a clone, I still don't think they're allowed to run both robots as separate entries.

Re: 2014 IRI Predictions
I can't see 27 being anything but an alliance captain or early 1st round pick. But hey this is IRI so anything can happen!

Re: 2014 IRI Predictions
It was a privilege to be able to attend the IRI last year. The talent represented at this competition has no parallel. The scheduling gods rule, and just because a team is better statistically than other teams means nothing.
Anything can happen at the IRI. Trying to predict outcomes is a fool's errand. Get your popcorn ready because it's going to be quite a show. I for one, can't wait to eat an ear of corn with Frank! You are coming to the IRI, right Frank? |

We made some changes to our robot for IRI... I think we forgot to add swerve though.

Re: 2014 IRI Predictions
Finals Match Predictions:
The closely matched #1 (254 469 233) and #2 (1114 2056 1241) alliances duke it out through two matches, each posting scores above 450 and bringing the set to the tiebreaker match. Then, in a twist of national pride, the Canadians sub in their fourth bot, Tim Howard, who successfully blocks Teh Chezy Pofs previously 100% accurate 4 ball auto. Final score is a blowout, 624 to 118 in favor of the #2 alliance. In all seriousness however, can't wait for IRI. I'm really looking forward to meeting all the fantastic teams as well as watching events even more unpredictable than those I listed above unfold. |
