Budget

I've seen threads about whether a robot was over or under weight, but what about the $3,500 limit? Does the abscence imply that teams were all successful in staying within the budget?
I know we spent under $2000 on our robot, so it was not a problem.

Donations: I believe you must figure in the actual cost of the material though you may pro-rate.

Since I was the head, the chief, and the main fundraising person working with the business community, I gave our engineers a budget of $2,200 cash. Though we also have sponsorship in the form of an extrusion company and a bearing company. We probably spent $2,000 total on the bot. Being that some of the money went to prototype parts and field building etc.

K3 (updated in Update 4)

I think we spent close to 3,000 on our robot (including the cot of donations.) Not quite done with the BOM yet, though ...
