I believe in intuition and inspiration. Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution. It is, strictly speaking, a real factor in scientific research.

I feel like catapulting a bunch of corndogs with parachutes at once would be a more effective strategy, unless there's a rule about how many the robot can possess at one time. Effectiveness of this strategy is increased by making the parachutes look like EJ.

Just remember, folks: Injury to any audience member from flying corndogs is worth massive negative points. Plan accordingly. Also, huge additional bonus for launching condiments with the corndogs, unless they're pre-applied.

Pretty sure the Philadelphia Phillies has a hot-dog gun on a truck that we could all be inspired by.

After FRC's yearlong obsession with corndogs (really seems more like a decade), this picture accurately describes how I'm starting to feel every time they come up as a topic of conversation

Every meme gets old. Corndog is the new water game.

There is and can only ever be one "water game:"

...

Re: [FRC Blog] Frank Answers Fridays: August 8th, 2014

Oh I'm in for this picture upgrade. I need to dig in my archives, I have a picture of Dean and I together.

And you non-corn dog eaters, (or as they say in Northwest Ontario "Pogo") you need to dial down the hate. The corn dog is the perfect robotic food. It has protein, starch, some sugar if you put ketchup on it. And it comes with a stick that can be used to repair almost anything. A good corn dog vendor can crank out 100's per hour, lets try any other food place doing that.

IRI isn't about the robots or the teams or the competition. It's about the grilled in the husk corn on the cob slathered in butter and the corn dogs coated with condiments. Where do you think 3 days of energy comes from? What makes the teams flip into overdrive? Hint, it's not egg McStuffins. It's the perfect food, corn, used in two perfect ways.

We can all visualize a Corn Dog Gatling Gun (some teams doing the West Coast, others doing Swerve) to the nines. Not seeing posts of "Here is our NE lobster launcher. Hey launching Bay area shrimp here!. Oh and the Hawaiian kids Pineapple launcher <danger Will Robinson>. Nope, the perfect food and launch-able meal is the corn dog.

Re: [FRC Blog] Frank Answers Fridays: August 8th, 2014

im sorry to reveal to the first community that I dislike the taste of corndogs greatly I know this a shameful coming from a first alum but please don't make the first obsession with corndogs a reality with a game..... LETS DO THE OTHER FIRST OBSESSION AND MAKE IT WATERRR!
Order of games:
Corndog
lunacy
ultimate ascent
every other first game played and thought up
water game
