FIRST's one hour drive

did anyone else use the 1 hour drive. We used it exactly as it was planned (it only took us a week to build and 2 more to fix).

I know 222 used something similar, but that's the only other team i have seen that used it.

One HOur drive

We used it as a learning experience. It only took a day or two to put together but it was clear that the motors wouldn't have the power we wanted. Still it was good for the newbies to see how a gear box looksa and what ti does. They better understood the process when we machined the new parts.

Our drivetrain is nothing like the drivetrains FIRST handed out in the kits. The only pieces we used for our drive train from the kit are: The drill motors, gearboxes, and servos. We machined our own mounts and made everything.
