I'm hearing South Florida will most likely be week 6, however this is not finalized yet.

Should we assume it takes place over RPI's spring break (Mar 21-29/Week 5)?

This is from the FRC blog:

We’ve just started posting event dates and locations for which we have confirmed information. ‘Confirmed’ means either that FIRST HQ has a signed agreement with the venue, or that District organizers have passed along to us firm information on their events. Please keep in mind that even though we may have signed contracts with the venues, things still can change! It’s very unlikely, but still possible. We have a few more event dates and locations ready to post, we’ll be getting those up shortly.

Events will be posted not later than a week or so after the information is confirmed.

I wouldn't assume anything just yet. Lone Star has no date either. Tech Valley may not have a facility agreement and so the date cannot be released/set just yet.

I'm a regular reader of the blog and am aware of how the planning process works.

Teams are looking for unofficial dates right now because most teams are wrapping up their planning process right around now. We don't have a second regional yet and while we have a few top picks, knowing the Troy date would be great to have as soon as possible.

It in the Regional list--New York Tech Valley Regional, week 4 (March 18-21).

3193 went there last year thanks to a NASA rookie regional veteran grant, and though it was a little crowded (and a LOT cold), we had a great time! Sadly, we can't attend this year due to state testing.
