NC reduced its initial capacity yesterday by an additional 8 slots, so it started today 13 less than last year.

That was easy. I guess I was late to the party. Anyways...I hope the other coaches are sure about wanting to sign 1726 up for the Arizona West regional, because I did.

For district teams, is it even necessary to be on early for the first district, as you have to sign up for your home event anyway?

In Michigan it is. There's some system involving home districts.

Doesn't much matter today because "home" slots are reserved for some time (Gail mentioned this specifically in an email), but timing probably will be important come Oct 9.

Yep, both 10K and North Star are filled up. It really is a shame, but there are always a handful of Twin City area teams that can't get in to the Minneapolis events, and then have to travel to Duluth, Milwaukee, or Chicago instead.
