For example, 2169 registered for Northern Lights today... that gives them a very low chance of getting into one of the Minneapolis events for second event registration, as Minneapolis fills (final capacity) before Duluth! If a veteran team from the cities waits until second event registration to register for the local regional, all bets are off.

Some teams (like 4215) are forbidden by their schools from attending regionals over Easter weekend so Duluth is our closest option. As for second regionals, probably Milwaukee would be the next closest
