Re: 2015 MRI
Maybe I missed it - but is each team supposed to bring their gamepiece?

Re: 2015 MRI
I haven't heard either way... I would urge everyone to bring theirs, just in case. Worst case, it sits in your pit for the day then goes home.

Re: 2014 Minnesota Robotics Invitational - List of Teams
I count 12 teams that attended the MSHSL State Championship that are coming to MRI, including all 3 current State Champions. Eliminations are certainly going to be very exciting!

Re: 2015 MRI
Partial success ! Current best guess is that we have three bad victor 888's (out of 8).

Re: 2015 MRI
Progress, nice
Try swapping the PWMs for the victors before removing them. Since you have a new DSC, we need to track it down to the PWM cable, victor, wiring, or motor. Keep swapping out pieces of the puzzle. Don't toss out the victors that you swap out quite yet. Most of the time when you are swapping motor controllers you are under a time crunch (prepping for or at a competition). Hang on to and test the controllers when you have adequate time to fully test and possibly fix them (for off-season use only) ![]() It's surprising how many speed controllers over the years I have found to be operational that were initially deemed "bad". How is everyone coming along in getting their bots up and running? |

Re: 2015 MRI
3883 is a-ok! We are actually presenting our robot at our schools pep rally.
Will 2175 and 2052's practice bots be competing in matches? Last edited by Shrub : 10-10-2014 at 10:34. Reason: team # |

Re: 2015 MRI
KrawlingKnight, Team 8052's summer project "Nymph" will be competing.
I'm not sure if that answers your question or creates more. ![]() |

Re: 2015 MRI
2052 has never actually built a practice robot before. This is a completely new robot that we built as a summer project. Since we generally do mecanum we decided to do a 6 CIM shifting WCD robot for the summer project to get some experience with that. We did use our spare pickup arm though so our method of ball pickup is the same as our competition bot. We are entering it as a separate robot so yes, it will be in matches.
