So the drive shaft goes through the large steering gear well off-axis? That's certainly different, but it saves a second set of bevel gears.
I still don't see how the robot weight is supported. The wheel supports its axle which supports brackets which support the large steering gear, but there I lose it; neither the cim bearing nor the planetary bearing appears to be oriented correctly to support the robot weight. |
