On the Beta Test site it is confirmed that the dlink used in previous years will continue to be used. The original plan during alpha testing was to use usb routers, but the tech produced too many problems and the idea was scrapped. The usb connections are, as of now, mainly for the use of a Microsoft HD-3000 usb camera (included in KOP) which is replacing the axis camera from previous years. The ports can be used for other options, but must be configured as such.
