Throwing Trash

In looking for ways to score easy points we saw that the player could potentially throw the trash (pool noodle) from the human player station to the opponents auto zone. We tried this but found it extremely difficult to reliable get the trash the required 30 feet to score. Has anyone found a way to throw the trash across the field?

Re: Throwing Trash

Here's what I said in another thread. I haven't seen any other legal techniques being talked about, other than throwing it javelin-style.

With that, I was able to reliably throw the noodle almost half the length of the field, and sometimes quite a bit farther. Our team's human player from last year tried this method as well, and he was able to throw it a bit farther than me. On one attempt he threw it almost the entire length of the field.

I don't know if that was a very good description of the technique, but I'll try to explain it further if anyone is interested.

Re: Throwing Trash

Because of the noodle agreement, you don't necessarily have to throw it. Finals exempted, of course. However, we found that if you hold the very front, and follow through the entire motion, it reliably goes pretty far.

Sadly with the rules update comes the death of the noodle agreement
