Coopertition Economics
If I use these assumptions:
- Every match I play in I choose to get coopertition pts - I play with 2/3rds of the teams at the tournaments - we are successful 90% of the time That decision gets me a 40 point advantage of teams that I dont play, less my failure rate of 10%, or 40 x .333 x .9 = 12 pts advantage per team average Coopertition set gives me 20 x .333 x .9 = 6 pts advantage per team average Now I look at the other scenario: - I refuse coopertition pts each match - I use the extra time to score points for my alliance - Assume I score 15 pts with that time - I play against 1/3 of the teams 15 x .333 = 5 pts advantage per team I realize that these are estimates, but it would seem to me that coopertition maximizes my points. |
