Hi Im with a FIRST year team and im wondering whether we can use other programs, other than "autodesk ones" to construct the animation.
And also, is it required for the movie to be 30 seconds long, or can it be longer? Thanks- |

You can use other programs, but the bulk of the modeling and the animation must be done in MAX. And no, your clip cannot be more than 30 seconds long.

You almost have to use other programs
like *3d Max Plug-Ins for added functionality *Final Cut Pro or equivalent to paste it together and add sound *Photoshop for textures. *Other modeling software like (Autocad, Bryce 5, Cinema 4d, Maya, etc) and other things too. and yes 30.00 seconds is the maximum it can be that is what you have a blank screen for 5 seconds, so the counter can stop. |
