Invader Zim dressed as Arnold Schwarzenegger from the Terminator (sunglasses, leather jacket, supersoaker hold the water).

Re: What should our Mascot be?

Make sure your mascot costume is easily transportable, small enough to maneuver in crowded areas, and designed so the person can walk easily and see. I have seen mascots get stuck, trip, knock down other people, etc.

(this from the team that had several large, unwieldy mascots in the past. Such as the walking MOE stick and uppet.)

You guys do like gigantic props.
You can see our old mascot to the right of MOE's mascot. Word to the wise: clean it often. The head actually belonged to the cheerleading squad and apparently they didn't think years and years of sweating in the thing merit cleaning it out. According to the students wearing it the smell was pretty bad.
We have since made our own costume.

Re: What should our Mascot be?

I think your mascot should be a skunk.
We need more skunks represented at events...
