D-Link Router 2015 Config

Could someone put up the router config generated by the 2015 Bridge Configuration Utility? (We don't want to install & setup LabView just to uninstall it after we use the tool. Also, it's always nice to have a reference in case you need a quick manual fix.)

The configuration is different because of the new control system.

I know that the roboRIO address is different but I wasn't sure about the router. Ignore my previous post. Download the tool.

Re: D-Link Router 2015 Config

LabVIEW is not required for the radio config tool. It's installed by the 2015 FRC Update Suite, which also installs the driver station and roboRIO imaging tool? Do you also plan to uninstall those?

Re: D-Link Router 2015 Config

The config is basically the same except you don't need an extra voltage regulator because with the new control system there's an included voltage regulating breakout.. Do basically same thing just slightly easier

And you also need to configure the DHCP server on the router, but if you know a bit about networking that should be easy.

I installed the 2015 FRC Update Suite, but it's not on here. Actually, neither is the Driver Station. Eclipse C++ compilation works though...

Re: D-Link Router 2015 Config

Did you look in Program Files for the FRC Driver Station folder?
The 2015 Bridge Configuration Utility is located in
Program Files/National Instruments/LabVIEW 2014/project/Bridge Configuration Utility

Re: D-Link Router 2015 Config

The basics are:
1. Assign your team's IP address to the radio such as 10.TE.AM.1
2. Enable DHCP server to give out addresses like 10.TE.AM.* (maybe from .20 to .100)
That should suffice for home (shop) use.

PS: RoboRIO, the Driver Station and the developer's PC(s) are supposed to find each other via mDNS.
