Number of Pnuematic Tanks allowed?

Hi everyone,

Our team has looked in the manual, and it does not seem to state how many Clippard air tanks we can have on board our robot? We were wondering if anybody found any specific limit and were also wondering if we were restricted to any specific bore or stroke size for pneumatic air cylinders. Thanks for any help!!! If you did find a specific limit we would greatly appreciate if you could state the page of the manual it is stated on.

Thanks again!

Re: Number of Pnuematic Tanks allowed?

Just as a note, I know there are several other teams asking about how many tanks /should/ be used, we are looking specifically at if there are any restrictions stated in the manual.

There are no restrictions on the size or number of air tanks that can be used, nor limits on strike or bore size of the cylinders.

As long as your robot is able to meet all other robot rules. (Pay particular attention to R3 and R4, but other rules may apply.)

To add to that if you have any of those white Clippard tanks drill holes in them and through them in the trash.
