Re: "Spare Parts" in theaters nationwide Jan. 16!
Actually there are 4 FRC teams involved. The Bit Buckets, FRC #4183, is listed twice in the movie credits. Our underwater robot Tribble is an extra in the film. Our coach David Forbes is listed by name in the credits as a robot maker for his part building the robots used in the competition, as a member of the Typewriter Repairmen, underwater robotics team.
FIRST experience ***definitely*** helped make this magic happen. Also, I've seen the film and it is WONDERFUL!!!! Go for sure, and bring your teams, and fill the theaters. This is a win for all of us.
