Re: Swordfighting, Robots & Drones

NO! I saw Rolla and got really excited, then I realized that it is two hours away D:

Shameless plug: MST is a great, challenging school with great opportunities. I highly recommend it to everyone looking to pursue engineering of really any discipline.

Did anyone else think this would be about tethered quadrotors swordfighting with pool noodles when they read the title?

Yes, that is what I read into the title also.

Re: Rolla -- I second Faust's plug. This is one of the great schools the will turn you into a first-class engineer the old fashioned way, by hard work and intense focus.

I recommend Georgia Tech and Purdue, for the same reason.

I believe in intuition and inspiration. Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution. It is, strictly speaking, a real factor in scientific research.
