Re: Problems with Driver Station
Are you running Windows?
You can just search for driver station in the search box and it will appear. Otherwise our team was able to find it embedded in the update folder. |

Re: Problems with Driver Station
It should be in:
C://Program Files/FRC Driver Station Program Files may be Program Files (x86) depending on your computer. It gets installed with the FRC Update. Did you follow these directions: Installing the FRC 2015 Update Suite (All Languages) Last edited by Mark McLeod : 23-01-2015 at 09:25. |

Re: Problems with Driver Station
You got to the ScreenSteps site okay, but it doesn't look like you went through the Getting Started with the 2015 Control System section. The Installing the FRC 2015 Update Suite (All Languages) is where it steps you through putting the software in the right place.

Re: Problems with Driver Station
Well I figured it out. It was just a National Instrument Update that hadn't been done. But now, when I log in as driver, the dashboard doesn't pop up like it has in the past. Its not a huge deal to us, but there is like two windows and the resolution is huge, and we can't see them both at one time. Is there some setting we can change in order to see everything?

Re: Problems with Driver Station
Are you using the floating or docked window mode? In docked, it should scale to the resolution.

Re: Problems with Driver Station
Is this on a Classmate or another laptop?
Did you set the task bar to Auto Hide and make more room on the screen? Do the two windows have frames? |

Re: Problems with Driver Station
Yeah, I auto-hid the task bar but it still doesn't snap to the correct resolution.

Re: Problems with Driver Station
If you don't answer the questions we're asking, we can't do a good job of advising you further. To summarize what we still want to know:
Are you using the "floating" or "docked" window mode? If you don't know what that means, just tell us whether or not the windows have title bars. Is this a Classmate laptop? If you don't know what that means, just tell us what brand of computer you are using. |
