Powering a coprocessor

I recently bought a Odroid c1. It is supposed to take 5v at 2 amps. I checked the frc rules and it said the only device allowed to be powered by the 5v 2a rails on the vrm is the bridge. is there a way i can power this thing without breaking the rules? I was thinking about the 12v dc converter from last year but was wondering if there is any easier option like having two vrm instead of a pcm and using one of the 5v2a rails for the radio and one for my coprocessor, but according to the rules the only thing that can be connected is the radio power.
