Thank your military

Even if you don't agree with the possible war in Iraq/ North Korea and the war on terrorism, your troops deserve your support. Please, send them your thanks for defending our freedom.

Thank you David for the link. I think it is important we all appreciate the men and women who put their lives on the line to protect the freedoms we hold so dearly.

Yes!

Support our troops. Even if you are against the war, support those people that have to do what you don't want to.

Place your attention entirely on my voice and try to ignore all the others. It is important to be able to focus on a single source of information while blocking out all the other things competing for your attention.

I think that we should all support them. Even if you don't like going to war with Iraq you should because they can't control the desicion about the war.

They swore an oath...

"To uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America from all enemies, foreign and domestic and to obey the orders of the officiers appointed over me."

My thoughts exactly. They have orders sending them to the Gulf....and would die for our freedom that we hold so dear and take for granted.

Please, Scottie2Hottie, and everyone else, follow David Kelly's wishes, and refrain from such comments in this thread.

The American Service Men and Women are not our enemies. As far as I'm concerned, Iraq isn't either, but that's not for this thread. Let's leave this as the American Military Forces are out there, around the globe, doing whatever they can to uphold our rights. It's the least you can do to acknowledge this small fact. Without these men and women, where would we be now? Probably still the English Colonies in the New World. Take a minute, show that you care for them, human beings, possibly going to sacrifice their lives in an attempt to protect the values we hold so dearly. I admire them for this, because I know that I would never be able to do stuff that they can do.

So, forget everything you know about current events. Send our men and women, serving everywhere, a little token of your appreciation. It's the least you can do.
