^^This. As an international team, live-streams are the only way we can see other teams/comps that doesn’t involve an airfare. it's improved a lot in the recent years but there is still quite a bit to go, especially in the recording area.

Unfortunately, since a live stream requires quality internet, many venues are simply going to have trouble supplying it. It needs to be negotiated at each competition location by that planning committee, and most don't have the expertise either.
Remember that FIRST has little to do with putting on Regionals - it's volunteer work for the most part. I can't imagine the cost of the projection system. |
