Re: How to use an old cRIO with a 2015 driver station
Does anyone know where we can download the old driver station? We still want to use our old CRio for driver practice but we no longer have any of last year's software. The NI link to last years update says "page not found".

My solution to using the old 8-slot cRIO was to install both last year and this year's software. Just make sure to put them both in separate National Instruments directory trees. I did NI 2014 and NI 2015 as the two. The updates installed fine (well LV 2013 works fine). Both drive stations are installed in Program Files/FRC Driver Station. There will be two versions of every file, just confirm which EXE is which.
Hopefully that is helpful to someone. Good luck! |
