This.
I had never heard the song before their video, I love hearing it even if it is over played because of the 118 video.(as well as Teh Chezy Pofs video).

Talking Re: Songs that reminds you of FIRST, or robots in general

I'm surprised I didn't see this, unless I missed it (cuz I'm older), how about Mr. Roboto by Styx (cuz I'm older).

What of theme songs from tv or movies: Transformers, Astro Boy (redo of Pinocchio), Gigantor, Iron Giant, Robots, Westworld, Day the Earth Stood Still (1951 and/or 2008) (GORT is Awesome, and I don't mean the Lego Movie), Robbie (Forbidden Planet), Lost in Space's B-9 (60's TV and 1990's remake), robots from AI, Terminator franchise and the list goes on and on.

The Humans are Dead by Flight of the Concords
Best summarized by one particular line..
"Come on sucker, lick my battery"

You sir, need to come out to Boston for a Red Sox game. Sweet Caroline is a fan favorite (and a tradition)

Due to that, Sweet Caroline has also become a staple tradition of New England FRC events. It always feels weird when I don't here it at an event.

Re: Music

I'm pretty sure I've only ever heard Chelsea Dagger by the Fratellis at FIRST events.

You might not know the song title, but if you've ever been to an FRC regional, you've almost certainly heard it:

Some of my teammates jokingly consider this song to be our theme, and I have to admit, the lyrics are pretty fitting!

Re: Songs that reminds you of FIRST, or robots in general

I definitely can't hear "Can't Hold Us" without thinking of the 118 video.

I've had the good fortune to be involved with five regional wins over my years, spread across three different teams. For some reason, the only walk song I remember is "Dynamite", when 2815 won Palmetto 2011 and capped off the most improbable two-banner-in-two-weeks-from-the-last-pick-of-the-draft season. Still puts a smile on my face.

I heard a song the other day, at Walmart or Stop and Shop, that was a robotics song. No clue what the song was or the name.

The Cannery by Kevin Macleod
Very evocative of an extremely busy workshop 5 hours before bag-and-tag when the robot's manipulator hasn't been finished.
