2015 system on FMS lite-week0 events

It seems that week 0 events (scrimmages) are going to be run on the 2014 FMS lite variants. What is the least painful way of doing this?

Thoughts I have:
The 2015 DS will work. Probably constant reminders to team to check the 2014 protocol flag.
The driver station will need a static IP 10.te.am.5 & subnet mask 255.0.0.0.
The trickier parts will be the robot & robot bridges.
a) turn off the DHCP in the bridge & set a static IP on the RoboRIO.
or
b) change the subnet mask on the DHCP to 255.255.255.0 & leave the RoboRIO alone?

A side note to this. When trying to manually reconfigure the DAP 1522 after using the configuration tool, Changes don't save. We had to reset the DAP1522 to factory setting to get it to allow changes. Is this a bug, feature, or am I missing something?
