Strength of springs in Bimba single action cylinders

While waiting for Bimba to fulfill my teams order of single action (spring return) cylinders I was wonder what is the force of the spring in the cylinder? Is it just enough to push the rod back into the cylinder or is it actually have some force to it?

You can find the spring forces for each cylinder size in Bimba's catalog.

Cylinders ordered from McMaster are typically Bimba or similar...
they show in the online catalog this table with the internal spring forces.

i don't have to much experience with them, it may depend on the size of the cylinder. but we have A small one 3/4" with a 2 or 3 " stroke and the spring doesn't provide much resistance... a few lbs would be my guess
