Problems installing Java On RoboRIO
My team has had a second RoboRIO designated for a practice robot, and I have just started to image and install Java onto it. However, using the installation tool from the 2015 update, it seems that Oracle has since then updated the version of Java that the RoboRIO is compatible with, and there are new/different components in the ARMv7 packages that Oracle offers now. We installed Java on our first RoboRIO successfully at the beginning of the build season. When I try to download some of the available packages, I am given an error saying that the Java installation was corrupted. Have any of you run into this problem, and if so what version did you install?

Re: Problems installing Java On RoboRIO
You are correct. Wpilib screen steps has been updated with directions on how to fix this. There are also a couple of thread in the Java section on CD on this issue.

Re: Problems installing Java On RoboRIO
Thank you so much! I didn't even see that note going through the WPI library. Installed the latest version, and it works just fine now.
