Those of us not in that one are looking forward to watching this one online... It seems most of the traditionally stronger Washington teams will be there... It will likely guide how we spend our 6 hours before our week 2 event....

Frankly, I'm just looking forward to our first event... After a long build season, you never really know how the robot is going to perform until that first day...

Definitely agreed. I would hazard to say it's the strongest PNW district yet, just by looking at the roster.

I'm looking forward to seeing you guys at Auburn, Round 2. Seattle 2013 often plays through my mind. That was probably my favorite scouting meeting of all time.

I'm looking forward to this event too. We've traditionally done pretty well at week 1 events, when teams are still trying to figure things out, but with a small event and a deep roster i think it'll be an exciting event that will help define how the game is played.

Hub City - Lubbock TX. Our team had a GREAT time at this competition back in 2013. It was a fun trip, fun announcers, good Refs, Helpful event staff.

I'm not convinced. This game will leave plenty of teams unable to significantly make an impact in a match, especially early in the season. With plenty of teams still getting things figured out or finishing their robots, I expect Friday to be insanely boring. I'll cross my fingers that I'm proven wrong.

I'd put OC right up there as the strongest PNW district event. Its got a lot of strong teams too. Thats the one I'm excited for.

Re: What 2015 Events Are You Looking Forward To?

Personally looking forward to going back to a regional for the first time since NE FIRST went to districts. It may be only our second year in districts, but man do I miss the longer, bigger events.

195 will be attending the Tech Valley Regional.

Re: What 2015 Events Are You Looking Forward To?

Dallas - Week 1 with one of the most stacked rosters you'll see all season, accompanied by one of the best MCs in FRC. Multiple world championships multiple woodie flowers winners. What a great way to kick off the season.

Hate to break it to ya, Bailey, but Tech Valley is smaller than some districts. It get's pretty tight in there but there is a good variety of teams.

I'm looking forward to UMass Darthmouth. It's a very small event but will be extremely competitive with 78, 125, and 1519 to name just a few
