Printing to Smart Dashboard

Hello, my team has been using a test bot for practicing programming, we had been able to print values to the smart dashboard, but when we moved to the robo rio, we can no longer do that. Any suggestions would be great!

Are you using the new smart dashboard that is found in wpilib folder in your user folder or the old smart dashboard that is found in sunspotfrcsdk?

That would be the problem since this years SmartDashboard uses mDNS which the old one does not have
