Questions with LEDS

With our team this year, we are trying to get into the whole trend with adding led's on our bot.
We also think it would be a cool project to be doing while we wait to compete in our first competition.

We are asking any teams that have LEDS this year or previous years, which LEDs did you guys like the most and which are easier to program.

Also how are you/how did you guys program the LEDs.
