Saving Video

My team would like to save the video feed from our robot and we can not figure out how to do so. Any help will be great.

Side notes: we are using the Microsoft lifecam 3000.

Re: Saving Video

The dashboard for the driver station by default has a record feature and I believe it should be recording what is going on the dashboard. I have not used it, so my speculation could be wrong.

Re: Saving Video

Just to clarify, the two things Mark listed are independent features. The DS always keeps an image per second for the last minute. If you hit the red circle on the DB, it will also record every frame from the robot into an AVI along with all SmartDashboard variables, the joystick values, and plenty of other stuff.

The code for the DB record and playback is a little complicated, but it is there for you to modify if it doesn't quite do what you want.
