Re: what do your teams do when they need a break

This is definitely something our team would do when we need a break!

If it didn't come in the KOP, then it can't be used. No exceptions!

Or you could ask the GDC if breaks are approved.

Excepting the scheduled fueling periods (meals), that's when we break the body parts of slackers.

We break out last years robot and try to knock over tote stacks by shooting at it with the 2014 ball.

Mostly we eat food. A lot of food. We also sometime drive around rc cars and quadcopters.

Re: what do your teams do when they need a break

If there are snacks to be eaten, they are eaten.
If not, we drink down all the soda in the build room.
If not, then laptops are played.
If not, then we test (some more) the robot.
If not, we see if person X can fit in a tote.
If not, we see if that same person can fit in a can.
If not, we throw snowballs at each other.
If not, we throw litter at each other.
If not, we throw totes at each other. (JK, we don't do that)
If not, we throw robots at each other. (JK again, we definitely don't to that)
If not anything above, it's back to work.

That makes me glad that we took the pickup and kicker off Buzz, even though we went directly to omni H-drive and didn't use the base for mecanum prototyping.

Our team gets one of our mentors to go out and get ice cream for us. We keep track of how many "ice cream runs" he's went out for and so far there's five tallies.
