RE: Backup Computer
Hello colleagues,
Our team is getting ready for the regionals and are preparing a list of equipment to bring. Are we allowed to bring a backup laptop with Labview fully installed? Our kit-of-parts only included one license for Labview, so I was wondering how to best prepare the "backup" laptop (in case the one we are using officially goes beserk). Any help with this concern would be most helpful --- thanks ! Last edited by deanmorell : 23-02-2015 at 09:55. |

Re: Backup Computer
We bring a backup computer with labview installed. I didn't read the EULA, but I'm guessing it is a "site license" for the team, and not an individual licence for one computer.

Re: Backup Computer
Labview is a site license for the team, including any mentors or students on the team. It's educational, so only for educational purposes, etc. So I'd recommend a couple laptops with labview, plus a laptop with the driver station installed so you have a backup if (when) your normal driver station battery dies.
