Buckeye Thanks

I just wanted to take a few moments to thank a few teams once again for everything they did to help team 1064 out over the weekend at the Buckeye Regional.

Chief Delphi was a great help all weekend. They lent us a battery charger that we were in need of very badly (I just wish we could have made better use of the charged batteries on the field...but it WILL come in handy in Chicago). They also gave us some major pointers on our tread system that will definitely be considered if we try this system again next year. A big thanks to Mike Martus for all of his input

West Side Boiler Invasion was also a great help. They offered us a spare PWM cable (which unfortunately came unplugged between the pits and the field for out last match) that seemed to solve one of the last problems with our drive train. A big thanks to Chris Noble for the input he had as well.

Another special thanks is given to Darrell Noble from Team Hammond for all of his help as well. There in support of his son from Purdue, he was able to help us out with some radio problems on Friday amongst other things.

Last but not least, I want to thank all of the teams for putting on one of the best Regional events that I have been to in my now 5 years of FIRST. The spirit of FIRST was alive and well. The team appreciated all of the many comments and visitors to the pit that wanted to see our articulating treads.

Look out for the Wild Beast at the Midwest Regional - we plan to be up and running and better than ever!

Kevin - mentor for team 1064 Wild Beast

P.S. What did everyone think of our giveaways? Good? Bad?
