Dear CD,

I calculated the TP (total Points) and Average using the FiM provided data for our team, 3548, and it doesn't line up with the FiM Qual Average that
was posted. What gives? For example, FRC3548 FiM Qual average is 27.25, but if I add up all the FiM points (0, 4, 112, 194,39, the total is 349 ok).
But dividing 349 by 12 matches yields 29.08, not the 27.25 posted on the FiM website. What am I missing?

I don't see an average on the FIM site (http://frc-districtrankings.usfirst.org/FIM/3548). However, I added up the points that 3548 achieved (in order of matches: 12, 34, 4, 26, 42, 16, 32,18, 65, 58, 0, and 20). All those added up equals 327. 327/12=27.25. I could be completely wrong on what you're asking for, because you could be asking for qualifying points towards states, in which case, disregard this. However, if you are asking as to why your qualifying point average is incorrect, it is not.
