Just because we didnt explain what are robot does enough im going to say it real fast:

1) Can flip boxes from any angle

2) Can lift uprite boxes from any angle with hooks that go under lip(they do work)

3) Wings that when open are robot is at least 29'+29'+35'
- Can take 50lb. of force on the end of the wing before they will get pushed in. Ya physics!

4) Have amazing, pnuematics tire, friction.

5) Can push me fighting it! (165lb.)

6) Never had a battery/compressed air quantity problem.

Sure, you weigh 165lbs, but that's a useless statistic without the coefficient of friction of whatever is between you and the floor. 90 foot wingspan? Wow, that's impressive.

I don't mean to rain on your parade in any way, but qualitative data is almost useless in an engineering profession. You can't just tell your boss, "It took half my strength to break this part." It says nothing useful about the strength of the part, because it's relying on your strength, an unknown amount, and your abilities to accurately guage your strength.

Also, you should probabaly post this in the Existing thread for your robot. If every team made 5 threads on their robot, this wouldn't be much of a robot gallery. It would be morely a war on who can spam their way to the top. It's useless to do that, because any good team knows not to base their strategy solely on pictures and qualitative data.

Good luck at the competitions!

Gee, Jnadke, I guess you really know how to give a guy a shot in the arm and boost his eago. I think we all understood the pride Tton has in his teams Robot and its ability to "leap short people at a single bound", but you being the moderator of this board I guess we should follow the rules.
Dont sweat it Tton it looks like you have a great Bot there and I hope you not only do welll but go on to win your regional, im reserving the Nationals for our Bot but there again we could be allied. Wouldnt that be a kicker.

you are absoultly correct, but if you notice, he is a rookie, did the thought cross your mind that maybe he didnt know better?, UMM!!! GUESS NOT!!!

Oh and while you are pretending to be a Moderator why dont you do a search and see how many teams started multiple posts about their bots, or no do you just like to scare rookies,

ALL IN ALL, Tton NICE WORK ON YOUR BOT (i saw it). just kick butt at Rutgers and prove him wrong. and Jnadke please dont try to start trouble with people

Ouch, JNadke. Don't you think this is a little harsh? This is what FIRST is about - being excited about your team's robot. And that dig about accidentally using an apostrophe rather than a quotation mark was a little unnecessary.

Tton: Your robot looks very nice, and very professional. Good luck!

Trust me when I say that robot could push our last year's bot- the Silver Scorpion- around. I'm sure quite a few members wince when they hear about that robot being pushed.

It's a powerhouse.

Heh.

I'm beginning to wonder if I ever should have spawned this purple monkey thing. It's beginning to ... drive me bananas?

(booooooooo)

Thanks for the votes of confidence, everyone, and we definitely hope to see you at Rutgers! We're in the process of getting our giveaways and shirts together so we can make a decent showing as a team (just in case our robot doesn't ).

Quite frankly, I'm very nervous for our team, but man oh man am I excited. I'm really looking forward to meeting some of the teams out there, and see how ours fits into the mold. It gives me the jibblijibblies just thinking about it. Man it's stressful being a rookie, but I like it .

Gracious Professionalism, baby, Gracious Professionalism.
