Re: PNW Noodle Death Count
Recycle Rush is a different game, compared to what we FRC competitors have been used to for several years. It is not possible for a team to improve its seed by playing defense. However, it is ironic that in a game with a "green" theme (recycling), littering the opposing alliance's side of the field is a very effective tactic for improving a team's seed.

I have a feeling we will start seeing agreements made between alliances to not throw noodles until co-op is finished. The noodles can be worth valuable points, but unless your human player is consistently landing them on the opposite side of the field, co-op is more valuable. |

Re: PNW Noodle Death Count
After the events, who is responsible for all the recycling of the noodles? Are they sent back to HQ?

Any remaining at the end of the event can be taken to a local recycling center. They are Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE/number 4). If no one volunteers to take them, they can be loaded onto the truck and again placed at pit admin at the next event. Any that make it back to FIRST HQ at the end of the season will be taken to be recycled. Throwing the noodles away should be last resort. |

Re: PNW Noodle Death Count
Let us not forget the amount of bots murdered by the noodles
. I think they just get in the way. When 144s bot came back we had a few chunks of noodle stuck deep inside our omni wheels |

Re: PNW Noodle Death Count
There were less that weren't put back on the truck than 9. Now I didn't do an exact count but 4 full boxes left in the truck and 2 and a partial came back, unless there are some in the front of the truck that doesn't get unloaded after each event.

Re: PNW Noodle Death Count
Not just noodles - have NEVER seen TRASH cans so full of recyclables and returnables as we just did at one of our districts! Seriously, the number of pop bottles alone in the trash could've financed build season pizza for a team, easy!
