Robot Communication Problems
Hey, I'm a programmer from team 4780 and I have been trying to get our practice robot to drive. When I connect to the robot's wifi, it says the connection is limited. I have checked the roboRio's firmware and image. I also checked the connection between the roboRio and the bridge. When I go into the Driver Station, it says there is communication with the bridge, but the robot light and the DS Radio light are both not lit. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!

Re: Robot Communication Problems
Windows will report that a connection is "limited" if it cant access the internet from the wireless access point. This is normal when connecting to a robot.
Have you tried walking through these steps? http://wpilib.screenstepslive.com/s/...roubleshooting What steps on that page do/don't work? |

Re: Robot Communication Problems
Unless you're using another Wi-Fi router as a "workgroup bridge" or something similar to connect to the robot's D-Link access point, there is no DS Radio in the system. That indicator should not light up on the Driver Station.
If you aren't able to communicate with the robot, how have you checked the roboRIO's firmware? |
