Re: 2015 Utah Regional

624 wanted to thank everyone for the great experience we had at Utah. Being on spring break, it was nice to be able to enjoy the regional. I can't speak enough about how on point the referees were, and the queuers and other volunteers were very good at keeping the event running smoothly.

We would like to thank our alliance partners 1619, Up-A-Creek Robotics, and 4334 the Alberta Tech Alliance for the great run we had through the playoffs. 178 average and almost reaching the world record by one fallen can was quite exciting. We wouldn't mind playing with either of these teams any day, and are especially appreciative of 4334 working with us to install the can grabber - the mechanism they had to right the totes was just perfect for the system. I heard afterwards that 1619 has not won a blue banner/been to CMP (one of the two, I believe?), and were absolutely blown away. This team builds stellar robots and is going to surprise a lot of people in St. Louis. We would also like to congratulate Team Tators, PrototypeX, and the Eaglebots for a great competition in the finals - We'll see 2122 in STL as well (we never thought we would ever be the source of a wildcard...), absolutely phenomenal machine, and the team is very friendly.

Congratulations to 2486 the CocoNuts on their Regional Chairman's Win! Very well deserved!

EDIT: 5 of the top 25 averages in the world as of week 3 from Utah? Not bad
