Team 4967 Presents "Nessie"

FRC Team 4967 That ONE Team proudly presents our 2015 Recycle Rush robot, Nessie!




Technical Specs
- 6 wheel "Power Slide" Drive. 4 VexPro 6" omni's powered by 4 CIMs. 2 AndyMark 6" HiGrip wheels powered by 2 mini-CIMS for strafing.
- Speed: In the words of Team 85, "Man, that robot's fast".
- Chain driven lift using a CIM with 16:1 planetary gearbox.
- Universal claw with 3.75" diameter pancake cylinder to keep stacks level.
Robot Features
- Universal Claw can grab everything, even noodles!
- Lifts and stacks totes in either orientation.
- Lifts totes up to 5 levels high.
- Holds a full 6 stack with container.
- Lifts and stacks containers from handle or lip.
- Caps 3 tote stacks, or 4 tote stacks if container is placed on tote first.
- Grabs containers from step after moving upside down totes.
- Litter "armor" shove noodles out of the way and keep them out of the drivetrain.
- Four "Teeth" (not shown in pictures) to latch onto and drag away upside down totes.
- Six, I repeat SIX autonomous programs. Robot in auto zone. Robot with tote in auto zone (any position). Robot with container in auto zone (any). Robot with container and tote in auto zone (any). Robot with 3 tote stack in auto zone. Robot stacks 4 totes in landfill.

I know this isn't in the specs, but are those skirts inflatable for hovercraft mode?

Haha! They actually do have slivers of pool noodle in them, so they are buoyant!

Looks like the programmers have been busy, nice work!
